Albums to Prep for Warped 2018

Warped Tour says goodbye next week for its final cross country go-round. In true Warped fashion, us slackers have been wasting our time skating or sleeping until lunch time. That leaves little time to put in some effort, but don't worry, Uncle Drop curated a list of albums to binge so you don't go into the pit as a poser. Kick back, strap in, and enjoy the ride.
10Taking Back Sunday
Louder Now

Taking Back Sunday may be working limited dates this year, but at least that gives us a reason to binge one of their best albums. Louder Now electrified listeners 12 years ago, but it hasn't lost its luster yet. "Twenty-Twenty Surgery" still goes hard after all these years.
9Motionless in White
Creatures

Motionless in White have been choppy as of late, but that doesn't hurt the magic of their debut. Hitting the scene like a ton of bricks, Motionless in White combine the image of industrial with the ravaged tone of metalcore in an unforgettable outing.
8Every Time I Die
New Junk Aesthetic

If Wanderlust isn't enough of a reason to binge this, I don't know what is.
7August Burns Red
Phantom Anthem

The latest release from metalcore outfit August Burns Red, Phantom Anthem is a total banger start-to-finish. It's easy to see why they're carrying the harder side of this years lineup.
6The Amity Affliction
Let the Ocean Take Me

Amity Affliction pours their hearts out in Let the Ocean Take Me. Emotional choruses and pounding instruments take us to sea.
5Pennywise
Never Gonna Die

Never Gonna Die reunites the original lineup in killer fashion. Infectious melodies, vicious riffs, and pounding drums will hit the speakers as well as your skull. Don't sleep on this one!
4Senses Fail
If There Is Light, It Will Find You

Senses Fail made a comeback with If There Is Light, It Will Find You. Returning to their old sound, Senses Fail reminds us why emo isn't dead, and more importantly, why they're still alive.
3Underoath
They're Only Chasing Safety

Post-hardcore legends Underoath made an impact with their fourth LP. Filled with heart and maturity beyond its years, They're Only Chasing Safety offers more than a neat cover. It's never too late to visit the golden years of post-hardcore at its peak.
2The Used
The Used

The Used piles atop the gems of emo. Offering a stellar debut, The Used hit the shelves in the right place at the right time. It's hard to say goodbye to Warped Tour without paying The Used its due diligence.
1Movements
Feel Something

Feel Something is the ravenous debut of alternative outfit Movements. Combining the atmosphere of indie with the edge of emo, Movements put forth one of the best debuts in recent years. Earning a contract after just one performance, it's hard not to recommend this album the most for Warped 2018. Keep your eyes out for them as they take the stage at all dates this year.
