Serbian Film - yeah it's pretty much as bad as they say it is.
Human Centipede - first one is actually pretty tame IMO, has all the making of a decent suspense/thriller but just nastier. HC2 is...yeah very uncomfortable. It was a tough watch.
Martyrs - fucking awesome movie.
Antichrist - yup there are things here I wish I could un-see. the whole thing feels like a bad dream.
List definitely needs some Cannibal Holocaust. There is simply nothing like it. |

Frontiers - I avoided this one for years because the synopsis just sounded so unpleasant, but it's actually a pretty sweet movie with some awesome, gorey final-girl shit towards the end.
Funny Games - Watch the remake cause the cast is insane. Awesome fucking movie, darkly funny but really mean-spirited.
Martyrs - French version is a must-watch.
To add to the list: Dogville, Coherence, Eden Lake, Love Exposure, Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance off the top of my head.
I would definitely skip Human Centipede and A Serbian Film, you're not really missing out on anything there, especially if you've read their synopses already. |

11.28.18 | see, that’s missing the whole point of martyrs. that movie was an answer to all the torture porn movies that were trending at the time. to read a synopsis or just watch the gory parts out of context is lackluster to its purpose. the movie is meant to be an uncomforting/punishing experience to those that would normally revel in such things |
