15k Boney Comments!

Been a long time coming but I'm finally at 15,000 comments. I wanted this to coincide with hitting 1,000 ratings but alas that did not happen. Expect another list for that milestone soon. ;-D List is recent digs.
1Grouper
A I A

Maybe my favorite ambient album I've heard. Alien Observer is obviously the better half but Dream Loss ain't too shabby either.
2James Elkington & Nathan Salsburg
Ambsace

Great Doof rec. Unassuming at first but reveals itself as a very tasty slice of acoustic interplay.
3The Jayhawks
Rainy Day Music

Been going through their back catalogue recently, there are some real gems on this one.
4Matt Maltese
Bad Contestant

Some of the best lyrics of the year here.
5Ulver
Nattens Madrigal

Yeah kinda out of my wheelhouse but I can't deny there's some quality here. Kind of reminds me of Loveless with all its screeching layered noise.
6Deafheaven
Sunbather

LOL
7The Angelic Process
Weighing Souls With Sand

Soul crushing stuff indeed.
8Tony Molina
Kill The Lights

A very nice little listen, at 14 minutes and 10 short tracks it doesn't quite stick with you but for what it is it's great.
9The National
Alligator

Been revisiting this one recently and I had to be honest with myself - this is just as good as everything that's come after it. It rejoins the 5 club.
10Radiohead
In Rainbows

Been binging some RH recently since seeing them this past week, and they've lost none of their magic. Recently I've been thinking The National may have overtaken them as my favorite band of all time, but nah, these boys still hold the top spot.
