Also, this is pretty heavy. http://armsfl.bandcamp.com/ And metallic hardcore is music that's predominately hardcore punk with strong metal influence in the instrumentation and vocals. This contrasts with the toothless metal or weak melodeath featuring next to no hardcore that you find in most of the mainstream metalcore bands of today. It's also scene slang that was created for people/bands that want to identify the typically more brutal, pre-Killswitch metalcore sound that was huge in the 90s.
