| Blink (Non-Fiction Books)
I just signed up for a free trial of the Blink App which let's you hear audio summaries of non-fiction books distilled into 15 minute mp3s. I have 6 days before I probably cancel (lol) so I want you to hit me with some non-fiction books that I should read in 15 minutes! They only have 3000 titles so far, but give me your recommends anyway so I can make the most of my free trial. It seems like an interesting way to speed-read through books you would otherwise rather not sit through. | 1 | | Blink-182 blink-182

c'mon guys, give me more non-fiction books | nightbringer
05.08.19 | Do you have any particular interests? 3000 titles is not a lot, so unlikely that they would have much that I'd want to recommend. But try:
Sources of the Self - by Charles Taylor
The Master and his Emissary - by Iain McGilchrist
They are both very good and maybe popular enough to be within the 3000. | artiswar
05.08.19 | Yeah, good point. I'm leaning towards history and science, but I'm open to anything, I just want to speed-read as many books as I can before my free trial is up. | nightbringer
05.08.19 | Cool, well, both of the books I recommended have a large element of intellectual history. Maybe they would have:
Thinking Fast and Slow - by Daniel Kahneman
^ Cognitive science.

05.08.19 | (Oh, and the Master and his Emissary has a lot of neuroscience too.) |
