Danny Carey Ranked
1Tool
Lateralus

The pinnacle in Danny Carey's creativity. some of the most creative drumming ever
conceived. from the powerful ending of the grudge to the the rhythms in Reflection, not to
mention the intricacy and speed of Ticks and leeches, as well as all the incredible poly-
rhythms all over the album. Danny Carey makes this album what it is with his emotional and
powerful drumming.
2 Tool
Aenima

This was where Carey really honed his style. this was when he started experimenting with
electronic drumming, similar to Bruford. a lot of really memorable drumming on this like the
polyrhythm in Eulogy, as well as the powerful drumming in Pushit, as well as all the intricacies
of Third Eye.
3Tool
10,000 Days

this has some of Carey's most technical and intricate drumming. highlight of this album would be
Right in Two, which has Carey playing the Tabla. although not as memorable as the drumming in
Aenima or Lateralus, it still contains some of his most unrestrained drumming, which really shows
Carey's chops.
4Tool
Undertow

Danny kills it on this album, even though it's before he found his style with Tool, he still shows
off his chops on this album, which has his most unrestrained and powerful drumming, really fun
to play along to
