The Black Dahlia Murder Discography Ranking

I rarely make lists. But today, i feel like making one. TBDM is probably my favorite modern Death Metal Band (Melodic DM for you genre sticklers) This band is one of the most consistent bands in metal. I would like everyone who is interested to make their own rankings in the comments. I want to see which album is going to get the most votes as their best album. I have a feeling its going to be Ritual or Nocturnal. Let the games begin!
7The Black Dahlia Murder
Miasma

This is by far my least favorite album. The only song I really like is A vulgar picture. I dont think they really found their signature sound until their next album.... Nocturnal.
6The Black Dahlia Murder
Deflorate

A quality album, but again, nothing that really stands out to me other than the closer, I will return, which is arguably one of their greatest songs. Def a top 5 song.
5The Black Dahlia Murder
Unhallowed

Unhallowed is a very good album considering it is their debut full length. Very melodic with a lot of catchy songs and riffs. Trevors vocals weren't very good on here though. He definitely improved a lot of over the years. Standout tracks: Apex and Funeral Thirst
4The Black Dahlia Murder
Abysmal

Considering how much I enjoyed their two previous albums, and how much I was anticipating this album, it was somewhat of a dissappointment and a letdown for me. Dont get me wrong, its very solid, but theres just something about it that doesnt give me that TBDM kick. Asylum and Threat level number 3 are def standouts.
3The Black Dahlia Murder
Everblack

This album had a lot to live up to After the band had just Previously released a classic album in ritual. It wasnt going to be easy either as they just lost their drummer Shannon Lucas (one of my fav drummers in metal) and their basist Bart williams. Even considering, they really surprised me with this album and came close to achieving the same quality of material on ritual, albeit just slightly less. Standout tracks: every rope a noose, on hell is where she waits for me, phantom limb masturbation.
2The Black Dahlia Murder
Nocturnal

I love everything about this album. This is classic TBDM. Even the album cover is classic. (Necrolord m/) The atmosphere of the album really matches the theme they were going for here. The album cover actually describes the music through illustration. For the last 5 years I have been flip flopping between this and Ritual as which one is my favorite Dahlia album. They are both 5's but I have finally decided Ritual takes it by a hair simply going by how many great songs it has. Ritual has more.
Standout Tracks: I worship only what you bleed, what a horrible night to have a curse, deathmask divine, to a breathless oblivion, climactice degredation.
1The Black Dahlia Murder
Ritual

And here it is.... Their Magum Opus. I feel like this album really has the classic, trademark TBDM sound. Everything is great about this album. Vocals, drums, riffs, solos, bass, intros.... This album has the perfect mixture of brutality and melody. I can listen to this album start to finish anythime. Stand out tracks: A shrine to madness, moonlight equilibrium, on stirring seas of salted blood, conspiring with the damned, carbonized im cruciform, the window, the den of picquerist, a grave robbers work, malenchantments of the necrosphere, blood in the ink.
