|Ever hear a band..|
..that sounds so much like another band that you're absolutely fascinated by how precisely they copied them, down to the tiniest details and most subtle quirks?
I was looking for albums to put on a future Bandcamp name-your-price list and I came across this:
|2||Lamb of God|
As the Palaces Burn
I had to stop and confirm that I hadn't stepped into an alternate dimension where Lamb of God doesn't exist and these guys are in their place.
|3||Lamb of God|
Ashes of the Wake
I guess if you miss this era of Lamb of God you might find something to enjoy here. All things considered, it's not an awful album and they pull off the style pretty well.
|Protest the Hero and I, Omega|
this review kinda replicates your feelings

You could tell me that Huldra's new album was an unreleased Isis album I would believe you. Although Since Isis happen to be one of my favorite bands of all time I couldn't be happier that there is a band out there that is almost imitating them. Might sound harsh but being able to imitate a great band is a massive compliment in my mind.

|Gojira sounds so much like Mastodon. |
But I heard and liked Mastodon first.
