Snowboarding Tunes

First day up on the mountain today. I got a new helmet that has speakers in the ears (skull candy) so for the first time ever, I rocked out while shredding. I went with Hardcore mainly, for obvious reasons, but all the snow convinced me to add some lighter stuff. Hip-hop for mountain cred. gotta have dem beats. duh.
1More Than Life
Love Let Me Go

Been digging this soooooo much recently.
2mewithoutYou
Brother, Sister

All the stupid bitching about "La Dispute vs. mewithoutYou" finally convinced me to check these guys out, even though I usually dislike 'christain' bands on principal. This album is fucking incredible. I don't even mind the lyrics, sure the have a decidedly religious bent, but they're clever as fuck. I mean the first line alone "I do not exist; I faithfully insist" is so brilliant it's flooring. I mean, there's a fucking philosophical paradox presented before the listener can even get comfortable. What an immense LP.
3Mono
Hymn To The Immortal Wind

Like I said, I put on a couple snow records. This is maybe my most seasonal record. I love listening to it in the winter.
4Manchester Orchestra
Mean Everything To Nothing

Honestly, I think I just got lazy and scrolled here from Mono but I'm glad I did. This was my album of 2009 but I have kind of forgotten about it with all this 2010 craziness. Such a great indie record.
5 Le Pré Où Je Suis Mort
Le Pré Où Je Suis Mort

I can't believe this only has 36 ratings. Wake up you guys this is such good shit.
6Big Boi
Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty

This has been growing on me since I first heard it. I love Big Boi's rapping style, the way he can use however many syllables he wants and still make the line flow well, it's awesome. "Yo DJ ain't no DJ he just make them fuckin mixtapes" "Where they at where they at where they at where they at?"
7Defeater
Lost Ground

I can't believe I went this long without hearing these guys.
8Dark Time Sunshine
Vessel

Really refreshing, clever hip-hop
9Kerouac
Cold and Distant, Not Loving

It's in the name really. This was only good for one chair ride and one run haha. So short.
10Foals
Total Life Forever

I meant to get this way earlier. I like it, I won't be amending my 2010 list or anything though,
