The Shape Of Punk To Come Ranked

Classicclassicclassic.
1Refused
Tannhauser / Deriv?

The build up with the violins and clean guitar make the explosion a few minutes in even more powerful
when it finally comes. Just a brilliant song, proves that Refused were more than just another hardcore
band.
2New Noise

it's OK but Crazy Town did it better
3Worms of the Senses / Faculties of the Skull

Fucking meaty riffs. The disco breakdown at the end is surprisingly awesome.
4Refused Are Fucking Dead

The last minute might be the best moment on the cd.
5The Shape of Punk to Come

It's got that classic angular riff...
6The Deadly Rhythm

I feel some injustice putting this at 6. Makes me want to fuck up some liberals.
7Liberation Frequency

The contrast between the verse and chorus is extremely well-done.
8Protest Song '68

Some excellent drumming here.
9Summerholidays vs. Punkroutine

Probably the most accessible and catchy song on the album.
10The Apollo Program Was a Hoax

This should probably be a lot higher actually. It really ends the cd perfectly even if it's way different
than
the rest of the cd. Beautiful and reflective.
11The Refused Party Program

Love how this one seems like a live performance.
12Bruitist Poem 5

Cuz it's an interlude but it's a very interesting one at that.
