My Babies Are Emerging!

I am taking an intro to entomology class for an elective this semester. I have received 6 caterpillars in 3 cups and have been raising them since. List is the names of my pupae and how they are doing.
1Pokemon
Pokemon 2.B.A. Master

1, Butterfree
So unfortunately, the structural integrity of the cloth that I was given was terrible, so along with 3 other caterpillars their chrysalis has fallen. I am concerned that they may have passed away, but am still hopeful
2Pokemon Dad
Casual Males

2. Beautifly
Cup brother of Butterfree, and in the same situation as Butterfree. Hopefully their chrysalis will survive.
3Black Randy and the Metrosquad
Pass The Dust, I Think I'm Bowie

3. Wormy
Wormy was in a cup where the cloth did not break down, so they have emerged! I woke up this morning to see them fluttering around in the flight cage, and I am so incredibly happy that they are okay. Wormy fell in the brown sugar water today.
4Minor Threat
Out of Step

4. Lyle
Cage Brother of Wormy, and also going strong, still forming their proboscis
5Butterglory
Are You Building A Temple In Heaven?

5. Margarine
The first victims of the shitty cloth, I spent about an hour trying to position them to a angle on a piece of tissue. They are still in their chrysalis.
6Exodus
Shovel Headed Kill Machine

6. Meatgrinder
Meatgrinder was the only black caterpillar of the bunch, right now he is incredible active in his cocoon, as he wiggles and dances in response to any movement. I hope he can pull through, as he is the most likely to survive on the ground.
7Stereolab
Dots and Loops

I am incredibly excited about them emerging form their cocoons. That is why I made this list, I just feel proud that I raised them. Anyway, now I have the moral dilemma of how to handle them when they pass. Do I let them be free and hope that the Minnesota weather treats them well for the rest of their life? Or do I keep them and care for them until they pass? At that point do I pin them in honor of them? Hmm Decisions.
