The Sput-Folk Union of 2017

In commemoration of the victory over a genre that's been lacking in originality since 1996, a series that shall begin on October 23rd and run until December 31st [11/19: got too far ahead of myself, this will extend into the new year with more additions most likely as time goes on]. What does this mean for you? Request something to be reviewed, for this series is strictly folk, and anything with the essence of the genre is viable for entry into the series. Below is the albums I've already decided upon for a review, and it's up to you to gather the best of the genre, the most-overlooked or perhaps even the worst of it all (if you see fit) for entry into this year's "Union".

The first four dates are subject to slight alterations, but everything after is up in the air.
A side note: keep the recommendations to a maximum of three albums. (I could say no folk punk, but since it does say FOLK, I'll chance it and allow it to remain.) P.S. Post-Punkers get fucked lmao we won
6Brigitte Fontaine and Art Ensemble of Chicago
Comme a la Radio

Plus you'll get a stupid description based on your "nickname" as a bonus
