They might as well BE an alternate timezone Darkthrone in which they remained a death metal band forever. Also the vox are strongly reminiscent of Van Drunen aka the best death metal vocalist in the world, unquestionably.

ZippaThaRippa 06.05.16	But yeah, when I was a young fellow, one of the vocalists of Mayday Parade left the band and went and formed a Mayday Parade clone. Pretty identical in concept and execution. But with two bands that were essentially the same, they were releasing twice as much material. And in my opinion, more was better. Same concept: the Obliteration niche hasn't been quite beaten to death by imitators as of yet so why not have two bands doing similar things and releasing more albums?
