An unusual amount of albums I was looking forward to didn't meet the hype this year...and here's me crying about it! (In no particular order) | | 1 |  | Good Old War
Broken Into Better Shape

I would probably say this is THE most disappointing album of the year, but it's certainly not a bad album by any means. The change of style doesn't really jive with me as I find the personable, intimate, fragile style of his "solo" stuff to be lost here. I find the production to be really weak as well. Saw this coming with her thrust onto the top 40 charts, but she went from interesting indie/folk flavoured pop to complete mainstream, paint-by-numbers offerings. | |

11.20.15 | 7 is one of my favorite albums of the year, but I understand why people don't care for it. I shuffle it with BBNG III at least once a week. I think the biggest disappointment for me was TPAB, honestly, but we all know how (mostly) everyone else feels about it. | NLD

My most disappointing has been Fightstar, followed by A Forest of Stars. Neither are bad, but I had such high hopes for both. | furyroad97
11.22.15 | Yeah, Delirium's probably her weakest one she's dropped so far, and this is coming from someone who actually likes most of her stuff a lil' bit. But my most disappointing was actually the newest one from Cannibal Ox, Blade of the Ronin. Considering how great their debut was, that album was pretty goddamn underwhelming to me.
I'd say Owl City's Mobile Orchestra, but there's a difference between most disappointing & one of the worst of the year, so there's that. | Archael
