Bath! (ranked!)

The best ranking ever for the best album ever
10maudlin of the Well
Bath

Interlude 1: Basically just guitar doodling to lead into Marid's Gift of Art. A pleasant little track, but
not particularly memorable.
9maudlin of the Well
Bath

Interlude 2: Ranked lowly due to being a short, instrumental interlude, but still an interesting song
on its own. The bizarre splashing combined with the bluesy guitar playing is unsettling, to say the
least.
8maudlin of the Well
Bath

Marid's Gift of Art: A fitting comedown after the insanity of The Ferryman, and a good transition into
the more lighthearted, but still mystifying Girl With a Watering Can. Not the most memorable song
on the album, but it definitely has it's place.
7maudlin of the Well
Bath

Girl With a Watering Can: A little too long, but still gripping. The lyrics on this song are nothing
short of brilliant ("I held all of Heaven dead in my arms,
And in one moment, I knew all of Hell"). Plus the reprise of Blue Ghost during the intro is GOAT.
6maudlin of the Well
Bath

The Ferryman: Eccentric as hell but extremely intoxicating. Actually took me a few listens to fully
appreciate this song. The operatic female vocals combined with the abrasive instrumentation is one
of the most haunting things I've ever heard.
5maudlin of the Well
Bath

Geography: Not quite as dynamic as some of the other songs, but without a doubt one of the most
emotional songs Toby Driver ever wrote. The vocals during the chorus are heartbreaking, and while
the lyrics may be strange, they are also unflinchingly depressing. Cryyyyyyyy my babyyyyyy
4maudlin of the Well
Bath

The Blue Ghost/Shedding Qliphoth: Ranking this fourth killed me inside. An absolutely beautiful intro, and a perfect way to begin such a mesmerizing
album.
3maudlin of the Well
Bath

Birth Pains of Astral Projection: Probably the darkest and most multi-layered song on the album. All
the proof you need to believe Toby Driver and gang were somewhere far away from their body map
while writing these songs.
2maudlin of the Well
Bath

Heaven and Weak: SLOWLY INSERT THE DAGGER AGAIN
1maudlin of the Well
Bath

They Aren't All Beautiful: The most fucking insane song ever fucking written, hands fucking down.
