| Sentimental Classics?
To me, a sentimental classic is an album that may seem different to you because of your new musical standards, but you still love because of all the memories and feelings associated with it. What are your sentimental classics? | 1 | | Linkin Park Hybrid Theory
It was the very first album I ever heard all the way through, way back in 4th grade. I still have every lyric to this thing locked somewhere in the back of my mind. It was all I listened to (along with Meteora) up until 6th grade. I guess I can credit it with introducing me to music in general. | 2 | | Avenged Sevenfold Waking The Fallen
Oh boy, this album. I first heard it in 8th grade, and it was the first album with unclean vocals that I ever heard. I remember letting a lot of my problems out through this thing, all through 8th grade. Eventually, as we all do, I moved on to heavier albums, but it's still got a special place in my heart. | 3 | | August Burns Red Messengers
I'll never forget the first time I heard the opening riff of "Composure", or the beautiful end to "Redemption". In perhaps the toughest time of my life, this was the album I turned to. I don't just remember the events of this time when I hear this record, I remember everyone that helped me through that time too, and I love being reminded of those people. I can't ever forget this album as long as I remember them, and I can't forget them as long as I remember this album. I guess that's why Messengers is my ultimate sentimental classic. | |

01.26.14 | Haste the Day's first album, Any AILD album up to the powerless rise, and rise against's siren song of the counter culture. I could think of more if I gave myself the time | drakefan421
01.26.14 | enough of these i like what you all hate lists | Rhyme
01.26.14 | the lack long after - pianos become the teeth because it's what i listened to when my favourite teacher died last year | YoYoMancuso
01.26.14 | Siamese Dream, which is still my favorite record of all time. I first heard it right after my first battle with depression and it's been my go to ever since. | VermTheInquisitor
01.26.14 | 1 is like 5 this or die, and the opinion of hipsters who listen kool a.d is worthless. Besides, 2 and
3 are pretty good metalcore albums. Most of the people who said - omg, this is so bad- can't give a
decent reason and most of them just said- oh, is so mainstream-, the funny thing is that most of them
listen the most inconsistent pop and sellout rap for uncultured people | Ending
01.26.14 | Hybrid Theory/Meteora will forever be sentimental classics for me. Horizons by Parkway Drive might be one too for me, since that was amongst the first albums I listened to during my realization that looking for music on my own was much faster and better than trying to via the radio or something. Boneyards was also probably my first song to 100 plays. | Greem
01.26.14 | Linkin Park - Minutes to Midnight. My first album... | Thibs
