MichaelSnoxall 02.14.13	Yeah, you need to read hard, because if you go in for a casual read, like 90% of what happened in the chapter will just fly right over your head. My copy has these cool chapter breakdowns to give an idea of what happened and it helped me understand how the writing style worked.

"like yeah, I interpreted that scene as god punch a donkey in the muzzle" The chapter breakdowns just help you understand everything that happened in the chapter, because he writes so dense that it's hard to understand. He doesn't use grammar and everything happens so fast it's hard to grasp. Those chapter breakdowns help you understand the writing style. They helped me enjoy the book a lot more.

Puzzles 02.18.13	So, this list is a joke, and you guys really need to read The Road. It's fantastic, probably a more compelling storyline and equally brilliant writing. Thematically it's a little more straightforward but in terms of everything else, I found it to be a cut above No Country.
tommygun 02.18.13	yeah he definitely kills the wife they show him checking his boots for blood rather than showing it on screen (can't remember how they handle it in the book) -- I mean even llewellyn gets killed off screen. the road is right up there with it, book is road > no country, vice versa for movie. that said the road movie ruled and viggo mortensen was fantastic in it
