Some will say that there are no new ideas and that every idea has been plagiarized from somewhere else and this is essentially true, but literal plagiarism is theft. Repeated plagiarism is even worse because not only is it stealing another's work, but it's insulting to those who have to continue to read it and recognize that someone has assumed that that they don't have the intelligence to pick it out. Yes, if the plagiarized work is obscure enough, the plagiarist may not be caught, but that can only go on so long and once a plagiarist has been labeled, then all her/his work from then on is subject to question. It is possible, as in the case of one young lady, to plagiarize unknowingly, but these cases are few and far between. Anything else is inexcusable. As PT Barnum said, "A sucker is born every minute." I think this applies here: anyone who allows her/himself to be wooed or impressed by work known to be stolen or subject to question is a sucker and nothing anyone else says or does will change that. This is, however, a free forum. In my opinion, if a plagiarist is recognized, the one who realizes the theft should point it out and then block the plagiarist. In this way, everyone is allowed to make use of this free forum and no one has to read anything s/he doesn't want to read..
