12.08.12 | i'll bite. a lot of people came after gkmc for the storyline which i never really bothered with.. but on section 80 i was like, 'this kid's a fantastic rapper he just needs to stop killing himself with cheesy concepts and awful hooky choruses' and, for the most part, i think he did that. i like the tracks where he just straight raps better than the verse-chorus-verse-chorus ones (like sherane, art of peer pressure, maad city).. an album like that from him would be 5/5 for me. he's fantastic just going and going over more unstructured beats a la buried alive on take care. |

12.09.12 | i actually preferred it to their debut. a little easier listen. but it's one of the most fun, easy to pop on albums all year. lyrics are awesome and it's as chaotic + messy as it is catchy if you're into that |
