R.i.p. Dave Brubeck

I'm not well-versed in jazz at all, but Dave Brubeck's music always spoke to me like most other jazz struggled to. "Time Out" was my first real experience with jazz, and I'll never forget what that album did to my boxed- in view of popular music. A true legend left us today, and he will be missed. To Dave Brubeck: time to Take Five -- R.I.P.
Things We Lost in The Fire

Every indie rock band in the world should be required to listen to Low at least once a week.
4Elliott Smith
Figure 8

I can't get enough Elliott Smith lately

So good omg. RIYL: Flying Lotus, listening to music whilst terribly stoned
The Woods

(pssst vote for this album for the user aoty lists)

Time Out

Again, I've not heard a large amount of jazz music, but this is my favourite record of the limited selection I have heard, by a long shot. Dave Brubeck will be sorely missed.
