idk about recently, but at least as of 2010/2011 most of these albums were commonly discussed and highly rated around here, at least it seemed that way.
good list, I love most of these. some of the inclusions seem odd to me, considering you left off the artists mentioned in the description... for instance, I would say Ridin Dirty by UGK is one of the 15-20 most essential hip hop albums ever, and if I was talking hip hop with someone I think it would sound weird to say that between Big Daddy Kane, Method Man and KRS-One's discogs, you wouldn't find one of the top 100 rap albums ever. |

You are more centered in genres like indie, post hardcore and pop punk than I ( but I enjoy a lot of bands of those 3 genres), and I'm more focused in classic rock, hard rock, progressive, metal ,alternative rock and more.Also some of my classic are sentimental classics that were important in my musical evolution. |
