With Roots Above and Branches Below

Started my hype on the modern (most often usage of) metalcore, and I really haven't found an album in the genre that approaches it. Some are debatable, but none could take the cake from this release.

Very, very much a grower for me. I went from major disapproval to astounding love for this one to a polar level.

Different from the first two, yet drew me in greatly. The rockability and catchiness never gets old.

Yes, yes, the largely hated Metallica-similar record. After Ascendancy was released, I was fanboying so hard that it would sicken all of you. This hyped me up for the record so much that it numbed me from whatever the content might be. I have this memorized frontwards and back, and do not regret it.

As Daylight Dies

Gotta love me some HoJo. This, of course, was the dropoff from the significant metal sound in TEOH, but became my favorite above all. AOJB closely considered as a second to this in my KSE favorites.

The All-American Rejects

I'll admit, this is a strong guilty pleasure of mine. At first I was slightly force-fed this album by my sister in the car but this one became the largest grower i've ever found myself fond of. I have no shame in this. If you don't approve, be happy my sister's addiction to The Backstreet Boys didn't grow on me too.

Another passion of my youth. I love everything from them, but this has always been one I can replay the most by far.

I grew up with these guys, and know every word to every song from Five Score and each preceding album, but this album trumps them all.

This album is a masterpiece through and through and i've not seen a band in their genre release an album that I can appreciate on the same level as this.

My guilty pleasure. I'm a monstrous fanboy of this band and cannot say anything more. The only album that could come close to this in total favorites is #2, which is even a notable dropoff.
