The Red Paintings

The Red Paintings are a 5 piece Australian Alternative band, who incorporate the use of a Violin and Cello to produce a very arthouse kind of sound. In fact, The Red Paintings have developed quite a reputation as being one of the more artistic bands about these days, with their incredibly theatrical live shows, and actual portraits painted by the band. Since the late 90's the band has made a total of 6 releases, all of which have recieved praise.
