Sense Field was an emo/pop-rock/post-hardcore band from California that formed in 1991 after the then members of hardcore band Reason to Believe
decided to break away and try something new. Sense Field has been credited with helping bring the emo sound from hardcore punk circles to a more
mainstream audience alongside contemporaries like Sunny Day Real Estate, Jimmy Eat World and Texas Is the Reason. As such, they are one of the
unsung heroes of underground music.
