In Japan, it is rare that this kind of music appear to the major national music chart, but they did.Their latest album ranked number 4 on the national sales chart.'Maximum the Hormone' have released four albums in their history and every item sold more than 100,000 copies, their latest album sold more than 250,000 copies. They are all long selling albums.

In July 2008, they released aggressive, offensive, but catchy and smart masterpieces in one single CD entitled ”TSUME TUSME TSUME/”F””. This single was number 2 for their first appearance in the national chart and sold almost 150,000 copies.
