Devo is a post-punk band that originated in the early 70's. Playing quirky, upbeat pop tunes Devo made a name
for themselves with their hit single "Whip It" and their ability to fuse together new-wave and rock music.
Whenever Devo played a live show they would always dress up in odd costumes to make themselves look like
superheroes, or possibly just to be different. Upbeat guitar riffs, catchy melodies and simple rhythms, Devo is a
band that defined the new-wave pop-punk scene of the late 70's and 80's.
