Carbomb is a Mathcore-Metal band that formed from the ashes of New York acts Neck and Spooge in early 2000. Each band
shared the same practice space, and they gained mutual respect for each other's band. Then, Greg (guitars) and Mike (Vocals)
wanted to break their band Neck out of the hardcore and metal label by being different. Greg and Mike wanted to do what Faith

shared the same practice space, and they gained mutual respect for each other's band. Then, Greg (guitars) and Mike (Vocals)
wanted to break their band Neck out of the hardcore and metal label by being different. Greg and Mike wanted to do what Faith
No More did, but they wanted to be heavier. On the other side of the practice space, John (bass) and Elliot (drums) felt the
same way. Although he was in Spooge, John decided he wanted to play heavier music, (much like Greg and Mike) so he set off
to find members of what would go on to become today's Carbomb. He first recruited Greg, and after lots of searching and jam
sessions, Mike and Elliot where added to today's line up.
