Arcade Fire

Releasing their debut full length album, Funeral in 2004, The Arcade Fire quickly became one of the most fashionable newalternative bands around, developing both a large popular following, as well as the support of artists as prominent as Bono andDavid Bowie. Compared to bands such as The Flaming Lips and Eels, 2005 saw them play a series of high profile gigs aroundtheworld, including a sellout UK tour, and appearances at several major music festivals. Their second album, Neon Bible(released in 2007) was a huge success and gained them mainstream attention.
