Aphex Twin (born Richard David James, August 18, 1971, Ireland) is a UK-based electronic music artist, credited
with pushing forward the genres of techno, ambient, acid, and drum and bass. He has been described as "the
most inventive and influential figure in contemporary electronic music" He is known as many aliasis, including
Aphex Twin, AFX, Polygon Window, Caustic Window or just Richard D. James.
