Heaven Shall Burn was formed in autumn '96 in Saalfeld/Germany, under the name 'Consense'. With the recording of their second demo in early 1997 the band changed their name into 'Heaven Shall Burn'. After working on their material for some time, the first full lenghth CD, 'Asunder', was released in April 2000. Also, a label was found that distributed their work ouside of Europe.
After work was completed on their second album 'Whatever it may take' , HSB toured through England and South-America, and finally to Iceland. There they meet Olafur Arnalds, who wrote three classical inter ...read more
