Finland's Before the Dawn is a Melodic Death/Gothic Metal band that saw daylight in 1999 as a solo project by Tuomas Saukkonen. The first line-up was gathered so that the band would be able to perform live. There have been numerous line-up changes ever since, with Saukkonen being the only permanent/original member left, but that hasn't stopped him from continuing to spearhead his band forward towards further greatness.
