bloc And good second point too. I can't deny not saying the same thing to others. Execution of a sound may be the most important thing in music these days. May 24 05:19 PM
bloc Haha, funny you mention about growers. I've never been too patient for albums claimed to be growers. If I'm not digging it after 2 (3 max) listens, I'll end up discarding the entire thing (or all the songs I don't like). I don't see myself ever changing this method tbh. Although you probably knew all about this already ;) May 24 05:16 PM
bloc Tbh, I'm finding it hard to find something that is truly fresh this year. We both know there have been some fantastic albums released this year but still...Although, I think this year will be much better than last year in terms of new albums. May 23 07:28 PM
bloc I agree that Hacride is more than capable of pushing the envelope as opposed to sticking to a typical poly-rhythmic formula that so many bands are doing these days, but the new album just sounds too safe. May 23 12:51 PM
bloc Glad you are liking Hord. I only heard a bit of it on Youtube but immediately thought you might appreciate it more than I. As for the new Dagoba, I listened to the new track The Great Wonder and I just could not get into the vocals at all. And you know I couldn't get into the new Hacride, but I have a feeling it's because their sound is not as unique as it was a few years ago. May 23 12:49 PM
