Fugazi was formed after the demise of Ian MacKaye's project Minor Threat. The band debuted with two EPs, "Fugazi" in 1988 and "Margin Walker" in 1989, which would later appear on the compilation album "13 Songs", and other albums "In on the Kill Taker" and "Red Medicine" are the ones that helped Fugazi gain into a mainstream sucess. After touring all over the world and releasing more albums, Fugazi went on hiatus in 2002/2003.
