Necrophagist

Necrophagist is a technical brutal death metal band from Germany. The band is noted for Muhammed Sui筥z's neo-classical guitar technique. After recording their demo, the remainder of the band quit and Muhammed was left to record the debut album, Onset Of Putrefaction, himself. After some time, Necrophagist's line-up finally stabilised, and their new album Epitaph (signed by Relapse Records) was released in 2004. Theband was on hiatus from March 2005 to June 2005, due to Muhammed Sui筥z being ill.On the 10th of February, 2006 it was announced that Christian Muenzner had departed the band due to 'scheduling conflicts'. A replacementguitarist has been found, Sami Raatikainen, who is from Helsinki, Finland. Sami was previously in the band Codeon.
