Assemblage 23

Formed in 1988 by sole member Tom Shear, Assemblage 23 is a futurepop/industrial project with 5 studio albums and a handful of singles, demos andmaxis. The music is purely electronic, with the first album being the most notably industrial and all subsequent albums strongly futurepop inspired.featuring Shear's vocals with psycho-analytical lyrical themes of emotional trauma, anger, stress, resentment, regret and sadness, with theoccasional uplifting track about overcoming these things. The lyrics are about evenly directed at the singer himself and at an unidentified person orpersons.
