Hammock

Coming from Nashville, Tennessee, Hammock is a post rock outfit that is comprised of Marc Byrd and Andrew Thompson. Their sound is one that implements atmospheric droning guitars, electronic beats, and a hint of shoegaze to create ambient soundscapes. Despite being active since only 2004, Hammock have been consistent in their releasing of records, including their full length debut, Kenotic (2004), the Stranded Under Endless Sky EP and second full length The Sleep-Over Series (Volume 1) in 2005, and their most recent Raising Your Voice...
