Big Country

Forming in Scotland before moving the outfit back to a more burgeoning scene in London, Big Country never left the roots laid down in that time behind, finding ways to incorporate influences from traditional Scottish music into an 80’s rock sound. Finding commercial success in the 1980’s rock scene, the band still releases music to date, though former frontman Stuart Adamson committed suicide in 2001, being replaced by founding member and bassist Tony Butler.
