2 of 10 thought this review was well written

Right after completing their big hit album “The Game;” Queen straight away started compiling music for the ‘Science Fiction’ movie “Flash Gordon,” which included the UK top 10 hit Flash Theme. A different version appears on the ‘1981’ compilation album “Greatest Hits.”

The album itself experiments a lot with synthesizer techniques, some which work, the best track probably belonging to ‘Football Fight,’ although mainly others are hit and miss.

Another notable track on the album is “The Hero;” a song that would be used to open ‘Queen’ live shows on their ‘Hot Space’ tour. The album also includes a ‘guitar rendition’ of ‘Wagner’s’ “Here comes the Bride,” which was part of the ‘Wedding March’ section of the album.

Although the film ‘Flash Gordon,’ is an average, if not campy rendition of the ‘DC Comic’ character, the ‘soundtrack’ album for it does at least become an interesting listen, although whether or not that would be enough for ‘Queen’ fans is another question, because this is definitely not a typical Queen album and was made more as a 'Soundtrack' than an album.

Also time hasn’t been that kind to this album, and a lot of the synthesized effects now sound extremely dated. And although there are a few interesting moments, the soundtrack itself turns out to be an average experience.

Way too short for an album that has 18 tracks on it...even though they are 18 short tracks.

I get the feeling he's one of those people who just writes a ton of reviews, and then he joins and was just considerate enough to not flood with 15 reviews of the same band in one sitting.

However, he was not considerate enough to write better reviews.

he's not considerate. He's still posting 2 or 3 at a time. Even if he did write them all at the same time it doesn't mean he couldn't have fixed the rest of them after he got suggestions based on the first few. He's just one of those stupid people that can't get a clue.

Probably the best part about that is how only one Queen album is actually in that clusterfuck of fives, and it's their Greatest Hits.

ha ha 100 yeah. Why does he rate Queen albums so much if he has so many 5 star albums??

Anyway, I also have this album and it would be tough to rate because nothing much really happens. So I understand the short review... kinda.

Read some and gotta say he does make some good points.

I think the problem is that he or she needs to review another artist other than Queen. Right now I don't know whether to take the reviews seriously or not. Of course finish the Queen stuff as you said, but maybe inbetween review a different artist. Maybe Led Zep as you like to mention them so much & they have six 5 star albums, according to you.

Take more time on grammar. It seems you are attentative on what you say, which is good, but sometimes sloppy on how you say it. I am entertained though, you seem to have good knowledge, but try to think less with the heart and maybe more with the brain.

Ok that's my rant!

Next??!!!
