No longer the new kid on the block, and with one masterpiece Debut album under her belt, KT Tunstall will certainly have found it hard to produce an adequate Successor to her previous effort, and with no surprise, but a little disappointment, none of the brilliance and originality that made the success of "Eye To The Telescope" seems to show here.

The album does show a few of its own brilliance and unique stand-out moments, such as the attractive vocals on "If Only", and the cleverly crafted mesh of guitars on "Hold On" that get you jumping out of you’re chair, blasting that air guitar.. Or at least tapping you’re feet to its beat, but its hardly a compromise for a rather bland album

Ultimately, "Drastic Fantastic" is an easy listening album, that offers adult contemporary listeners a somewhat pleasant, but hardly thrilling experience.
