The Fray Helios1.0
Look, I enjoyed their self-titled and their first album had some okay stuff on it. Their third album saw The Fray losing a lot of the atmosphere I felt they had on their first two releases, though, and it sounded to me like it was cornier and more generic than ever.rAnd this is just trash. When a song like "Love Don't Die" is the lead single, you know there's a problem.

Touche Amore/Pianos Become the Teeth Split4.0
Pianos are probably the greatest hardcore band since City of Caterpillar. Touche Amore has so far failed to really "prove" themselves to me, but "Gravity, Metaphorically" is probably their best song yet, and it's a really strong hardcore song on its own merits.

It's everything that was great about Tourist History, but the song structures are more interesting and everything just sounds a hell of a lot better.

The album has a really great, atmospheric sound. For lack of a better word, it just sounds cool.
We The Kings Sunshine State of Mind2.0
It's the kind of stuff you'd expect on the top of the pop charts. It's not that it's
terrible, but it's mediocre in every way, from the vocals (which sound like every other teen
pop band you've ever heard) to the poor lyrics that are dumb at their best and downright
incohesive at their worst.
Fair to Midland Arrows and Anchors4.5
Hands (US-ND) Give Me Rest4.5
I Set My Friends On Fire Astral Rejection1.5
An exercise in patience and frustration. Astral Rejection is an all out assault on the
senses, with vocals that will split your ears with their shrill, obnoxious delivery and
unnecessary electronic elements that add an extra layer of cheese to this already laughable
product.
