New Wave4.0Pharoahe Monch Desire4.0The Pax Cecilia Blessed Are The Bonds4.5The Fall of Troy Manipulator4.0Although Manipulator is a great album, I don't believe it is as strong of a release as The Fall of Troy or Doppelganger. TFoT decided to go with a more pop influenced approach, which has extreme hardcore (insert expletive)s crying foul. I appluad TFoT however for trying something different, and not just rehashing the stuff they have been successful with. All in all, Manipulator is a great album, and a must have for any TFoT fan, but for those who are just getting in to them, I would suggest that you start with some of their earlier stuff.Rush Snakes & Arrows4.0Maylene and the Sons of Disaster II4.0Dr. Dog We All Belong4.5Lifetime Lifetime4.0Dustin Kensrue Please Come Home3.52006 My Morning Jacket Okonokos4.0My Morning Jacket show with Okonokos that not only can they put out great studio albums, but can also put on a kick ass live show. Okonokos is one of the better live albums I've heard, and I would definatly recommend it.Mastodon Blood Mountain4.5Mastodon have crafted a modern masterpiece with Blood Mountain. The musical talent of this band is apparent, whether it be the sonic, jazz influenced guitars, or the thought provoking lyrics. While Mastodon stay close to their roots, the songs on this album will receive love from those who like things more mainstream. The Mars Volta Amputechture4.5Silversun Pickups Carnavas4.5All That Remains The Fall of Ideals2.0This album falls short for me. This is the same cookie cutter stuff I've been hearing over and over again. Listening to this record bored me because it is just so repetitive.Rise Against The Sufferer and the Witness4.0Saves the Day Sound the Alarm4.0Yakuza Samsara3.5Arctic Monkeys Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not4.02005 Wolfmother Wolfmother4.0Between the Buried and Me Alaska4.0Kanye West Late Registration3.0The Fall of Troy Doppelganger4.5Silversun Pickups Pikul4.0The Aquabats Charge!!3.5Weezer Make Believe2.5Weezer is dead. That's right everybody, the same Weezer that brought you masterpieces such as The Blue album and Pinkerton, is dead. Make Believe is a peice of steaming hemp rope. Weezer not only sold out with this album, but they did a bad job of selling out. While Beverly Hills is a catchy song, it is very poor as far as musical quality goes. I couldn't find one song on here that was above mediocre. Perfect Situation is my favorite from Make Believe, but it still isn't that good. Let's hope that Weezer either gets it together, and make better music, or break up. Personally after listening to this, I hope they break up.2004 Pearl Jam rearviewmirror (Greatest Hits 1991-2003)4.0Hellcat Records Give 'Em The Boot IV4.0Mos Def The New Danger3.5Mastodon Leviathan4.0NOFX The Greatest Songs Ever Written (By Us)3.5The Fall of Troy Ghostship Demos4.02003 The Fall of Troy The Fall of Troy4.5The Strokes Room on Fire3.5Coheed and Cambria In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 34.0The Mars Volta De-Loused in the Comatorium4.52002 Against Me! Reinventing Axl Rose5.0Reinventing Axl Rose is one of the best albums of the millenium thus far. The music is very raw, yet at the same time very catchy and easily enjoyable. The music is original, and will have you humming the songs hours after listening to them. A definate must buy for anyone who claims to be punk. The Mars Volta Tremulant4.52001 Saves the Day Stay What You Are4.5The Smashing Pumpkins Rotten Apples4.0Against Me! The recording quality is great, the music playing is good, and Mike Ness does a good job of interacting with the crowd. This is must for fans of S.D., and a great buy for someone just getting into this band.1997 The Aquabats The Fury of the Aquabats!4.0Radiohead OK Computer4.51996 Weezer Pinkerton5.0Pinkerton is Weezer's Magnum Opus. While I still like the Blue Album better, this album shows Weezer's song writing skills at their best. Whether it be River's soul searching lyrics, or the well crafted guitar and drums, Pinkerton is an instant classic. I happen to believe that it is the best album of the 90's. Buy this album now.Sublime Sublime4.5Texas Is the Reason Do You Know Who You Are?4.51995 GZA Liquid Swords4.5Green Day Insomniac4.01994 Weezer Weezer5.0This sounds cliche, but words can't describe how good the Blue Album. Between this and Pinkerton, I would have to say that Pinkerton shows greater musical talent, but the Blue Album still kicks some serious ass. Say It Ain't So is the best song of the 90's, hands down. your money would be well spent on this.Nas Illmatic4.5Sunny Day Real Estate Diary4.01990 Fugazi Repeater4.5Fugazi take it to the next level with Repeater. Although 13 songs is still an excellent album, I think Repeater improves upon it with better lyrics and better muscianship. The guitar work on here is simple, but at the same time, very satisfying. Joe Lally isn't Flea, but his bass lines are realy nice and catchy. Brendan just kicks ass all over the place with his drumming. All in all, Repeater is an excellent album because it can be simple at times, and complex at times, but stays catchy and inventive all the time.1989 Fugazi 13 Songs4.51988 Sonic Youth Daydream Nation4.51984 Husker Du Zen Arcade4.01981 Rush Moving Pictures4.5
