Sort by: Rating | Release Date | Rating Date | Name2013 Daft Punk Random Access Memories3.0It has a few gems, a few songs that just drag on too long with nice yet repetitive melodic breaks. However, the good songs on this album are very good. Lose Yourself to Dance and Doin' It Right definitely make me groove, and although Get Lucky is a little played out, it is still one of the best mainstream songs I have heard in a while. In conclusion, I'd say this is a good album for your overall music archive, but a great contribution to the mainstream music scene. I think it lacks something, though. It's good mood music and I dug it the first listen, but honestly, there's something not quite there- but how I wish it was. These bitches have potential, I just hope they don't fall into that cliche niche of being hipster girls with some decent chops and experemental potential that's shot down due to ego. Sorry, just had to say it. 2002 N.E.R.D. I personally believe most people's beef with this album lies with the fact that the Chili's temporarily changed their sound and got a replacement member that seemed to only work on a proffessional level. However, this album has many great songs with amazing changes and overall brilliant instrumentation. It was the first album that Flea really took the lead with his bass, without being too gratuitous or over the top. Songs such as Deep Kick and Aeroplane make you want to move and singles like "My Friends" bring a much more 90's psychadelic metal influence to it, however, what's wrong with that? Navarro may be a douche, and easily manifests that through some of his technical guitar playing. However, I would say that he DID know what he was doing and he managed to make a decent follow up to BSSM. Sure, it couldn't truly hold a candle, but as it's own thing, I wouldn't hesitate to call it a great album to your music collection..Bob Marley and The Wailers Natural Mystic: The Legend Lives On4.02Pac Me Against the World3.51994 Pink Floyd The Division Bell2.51991 Red Hot Chili Peppers Blood Sugar Sex Magik4.0Mr. Bungle Mr. Bungle4.01988 Talking Heads Naked3.01986 Frank Zappa Jazz From Hell3.51985 Red Hot Chili Peppers Freaky Styley3.51984 Bob Marley and The Wailers Legend3.01982 Michael Jackson Thriller3.5The Clash Combat Rock3.51981 Rush Moving Pictures3.51980 The Clash Sandinista!4.0Talking Heads Remain in Light4.0Bob Marley and The Wailers Uprising3.51979 The Clash London Calling3.0Frank Zappa Sheik Yerbouti3.01978 Rush Hemispheres4.0Talking Heads More Songs About Buildings and Food3.5Funkadelic One Nation Under a Groove4.01977 Bob Marley and The Wailers Exodus4.5Pink Floyd Animals4.5Bootsy Collins Ahh... Bootsy Collin's really showed that he was capable of holding his own post P-Funk. 1975 Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here4.01974 Frank Zappa Apostrophe4.01973 Bob Marley and The Wailers Burnin'3.5Bob Marley and The Wailers Catch A Fire4.0Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon5.0Funkadelic Cosmic Slop3.51972 Funkadelic America Eats Its Young3.51971 Funkadelic Maggot Brain5.01970 Pink Floyd Atom Heart Mother3.51969 Frank Zappa Hot Rats4.0
