I could listen to this album for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. The first song I heard off of it was March Of The Pigs and the intensity just drew me in and led me into buying it. The reoccuring theme is "You are alone in this world and nobody cares" and that is something I think everyone can relate to. All of the songs on here, belong on here. There is not a single song that doesn't deserve to be on here. My favorites are March Of The Pigs, Ruiner, The Becoming, Eraser, Reptile and Hurt |

Great CD. And for me, not getting a chance to actually see them, it gives me a great idea of how powerful they were in concert. I actually like the version of Tourettes better on here than I do on In Utero. |
Nirvana Nevermind | 5.0 |
Yes, however cliche it may be to consider Nirvanas' "Nevermind" a classic, I do. And I have no shame. This album is "classic" because it can be listened to and appreciated by anybody who is a fan of rock. Smells Like Teen Spirit was the hit off this record that launched Nirvana into the 90's music scene, but all the songs on here are just as good, if not better than SLTS. Before buying this CD I knew nothing about Nirvana except for that they were some band with a lead singer that killed himself. When I put this CD in my player, the first song I listened to was track 7, Territorial Pissings, and I thought to myself "I have been missing out". And then it just kept getting better and better. Nevermind changed my whole outlook on music and... I just can't put into words how good this album is. |
