Never listened to this band before this. This band is a little out of my style but I'm trying to broaden my musical interests. You can clearly tell that this band is talented. Vocalist switches between a raspy and smooth sound on a whim. Songs are all varied. Guitar riffs in "Frayed in Doubt" and "Call of the Bells" are very good, and then they bust out of the box with the verses of "Guilt & Swell". "In Currents" and "Tell Me Why" both boast a catchy impossible to not sing-along melody. Some forgettable songs, but still a worthy album.
The Early November are back with perhaps their most solid release to date. "In Currents" is emo-rock at its
finest and Ace Enders has improved quite a bit in the vocal department. The best alternative rock album I've
heard all year.
