A dark, pink-floydesque slab of progressive post rock, that doesn't adequately fulfill the potential offered implied by its core aesthetic.

I agree with thawey. A Floyd-a-thon at first, but continues to grow into a much darker beast. One small criticism of thawy's brief review... 'more heavier' is questionable English. 'More HEAVY' or simply 'HEAVIER' would suffice. Not both. Sob....

At first, the Pink Floyd influence might seem to enter the realm of shameless copying. There are choirs, riffs, guitar solos, even whole song structures, that resemble the brilliant floyd work (especially during the first few songs). But this album grows, builds layers and forms its own face with each listen. Thank god they incorporated more heavier stuff too. I think this is gonna be one of 2012's best.
