When you first listen to this, on the surface it seems like a generic struggle rap album. But once you delve deeper, you realize this duo is massively talented and has crafted amazing music. This is so much more than just Souther Rap, it's Hip Hop at its best: When there is an idea present, the artist actually developing it and the producers understand the artistic vision. This is indeed Cinematic!
And here I was believing the bullshit I had the unfortunate unloading of upon my ear in the form of: "G-Side dun fucked up." Apprehensive I kept my distance from the iSLAND too long until the barrage of flashing lights, copious laughter and fucking killer beats was too much to refuse.
