3.8 excellent | manosg EMERITUS | February 5th 18 | Energetic and well performed rock/metal that essentially sounds like a US version of NWOBHM. The songwriting is tight with plenty of hooks and catchy melodies by the underrated Mark Reale while Guy Speranza oozes of attitude and is very fitting for this kind of music. Overall, the most fun album in Riot's discography along with Fire Down Under.

2.5 average | Robbit | February 23rd 17 | Aside from killer final song "Road Racing", NARITA is fairly average hard metal. Mark Reale's guitar playing is noteworthy, but the songs well played, but also quite ordinary. I've never been as impressed by early Riot as some people seem to be. Always seemed second rate when compared with the European bands from this period.
