Judging from his lyrics, Wil Wagner might be one of the most sincere people in the world today. To think how this album can make me laugh, but also feel so blue, is amazing. I am in the firm belief that this band can do no wrong.
At first glance, No One Gets Lost Anymore seems like pretty typical folk-punk fare, but with a few more listens, it reveals itself to actually be a pretty transcendent experience. There's virtually no songwriting mishaps, and you really couldn't ask for more when it comes to shout-along choruses. And the lyrics. Mmmmm. This will inevitably become another one of those albums that I jam and laugh and cry to with all my friends while we milk our last few precious months of intoxication (both drug and life-induced) and try to feel infinite again before the crushing reality sets in and we all leave and try to ignite our lives separately and ughhhhh idon'twannathinkaboutitidon'twannathinkaboutiti'lljustputthisalbumonagain
AND LAST NIGHT, I KISSED A GIRL THAT I MET AT A BAR, WHICH IS MOMENTOUS GIVEN HOW THINGS ARE. WE MADE OUT IN THE MORNING AND SLEPT IN THE AFTERNOON, AND SHE SAID "WIL, I THINK THAT I CAN DEAL WITH YOU"rThis album is amazing, so many great lyrics and songs performed with passion I've never heard before.
