I'm not as into black metal as I was, but listening to this again, this is actually a very
excellent record, very good mix of melody and thick walls of sound. Extremely underrated
album.
I enjoyed the singing. The male vocals are, in my opinion, above average for random clean vocals that make it into extreme metal songs. I especially enjoyed the lower notes in "Realm of a Thousand Burning Souls."
