Not so sound Cliche-ish, but this album was a classic when it dropped. At this point EPMD had one under their belt and seemed to know what to do to make another one. The 2 weak tracks ( Too much to drink, TIme to party) were the hip-house/club track that every rap album had at the time (check special ed, latifah, jbs etc). Heavy use of BT express (before dmx) and dj scratch's debut make the production solid. Lyrically the duo keep their braggodocio and no-sellout stance on point and don't stray from it. I bumped this hard in 89 and will bump it hard today. Even "its time to party " get's a lil play because you can never say no to "love is the message". This is one that plays straight through so I recommend you give it a listen and enjoy.
